Course Description

**Used by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and Law Enforcement and Corrections agencies worldwide!**
 
This two day (sixteen hour) Instructor course certifies successful attendees in the use, application and Instructional methods of the RRB Systems Rapid Cuff. The Rapid Cuff's unique design turns the handcuff into a self defense tool as well as a simple restraining device. Several new handcuffing techniques are utilized to form a self defense program for a variety of situations where officers manage resistance in the field. Applications are designed for both law enforcement and corrections personnel.
 TOPICS COVERED IN THE PROGRAM INCLUDE:
• Proper application and placement of the Rapid-Cuffs on a subject’s wrist
•Application in multiple positions including standing, kneeling and prone positions.
 • Utilizing the Rapid Cuff  from both the standard or stacked position
• Using the Rapid-Cuff against aggressive attacks.
• Ground defense using the Rapid Cuff
 • Use in Special circumstances

Equipment Needs

Clothing and footwear for defensive tactics instruction. Duty belt with holster, training weapons, inert aerosols impact weapons and handcuffs.
